Boadicea

Boadicea (pronounced BOO-dikka). Music by Enya.

We danced this in Vancouver along with a lot of other women-centred dances to celebrate International Women’s Day..

Michael Wood’s documentary from 1980 I found quite informative. He describes the figure in this statue as Isadora Duncan as played by Vanessa Redgrave.
